As a part of the authority's public health priorities, staff are continually evaluating the effectiveness of our services, COVID-19 and the authority's water and wastewater operations, the coronavirus has no impact on the quality or supply of your tap water.
According to the CDC, coronaviruses are susceptible to the same disinfection conditions as any other virus.
As required for all municipal water systems, the treatment processes used at the Horn Creek water treatment plant and at our well sites remove or destroy 99.99% of all viruses.
Pacific City Joint Water-Sanitary Authority is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Pacific City Joint Water-Sanitary Authority
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
