Cameron Gogas, Director

Position 4 Term: 4 Years 6/30/2025

Born and raised in Portland, where my family lived until 1973, when we moved to Pacific City to start a local fish company. I graduated from Nestucca High School and worked in the family business until 1992.

After graduation, I went to work for Louisiana Pacific in Tillamook for 5 years and then spent 10 years with Boise Cascade before working for the Forest Service and Tide Water servicing oil rigs in the Gulf.

However, my continued desire to help my community turned into 20+ years as a volunteer firefighter and First Responder/EMT, 5 years with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, volunteering at the Kiwanda Community Center, membership with the Pacific City Dorymen’s Association and working in Security & EMS at Chinook Winds where I met Pam, my wife of seven years.

I believe everyone who is fortunate enough to make Pacific City their home, full or part time, as an individual or business, deserves to have their voice heard, to be an informed participant in what makes and keeps where we live desirable and wonderful. I hope my position on the PCJWSA board can help build equality and a positive future for Pacific City.
